Kryolan Professional Make-Up TV Paint Stick

I LOVE the Kryolan TV Paint Stick foundation because its dense pigment provides superior coverage. If you can strike a perfect hit on your shade, Kryolan TV Paint Stick makes your skin look absolutely flawless. As with all foundation, you need to completely remove it before bed and wash your face to maintain bump-free skin. First apply your favorite moisturizer / sunscreen and or / glycerin to your clean skin. Depending on my eyeshadow tone, I use Mehron geranium cream blush or Kryolan Supracolor 26 blush UNDER my Kryolan Alabaster stick makeup to balance out my pink cheeks. All of these creams then allow for the perfect blending base for Kryolan TV Paint Stick. It is very difficult to know the best Kryolan shade though without the benefit of having a Kryolan vendor near your home. Website vendors cannot carry all shades. Even Kryolan.com does not display all of its 250 shades. If you cannot find a Kryolan vendor near your home, you can email Kryolan with specific questions by finding the e-mail address when clicking on the Contact link on its website (upper right). I determined after some major back and forth that there are two Kryolan shades for me. The Kryolan website sells Alabaster, which is a light cool pinkish beige that works best on my cheeks over cream blush. I bought Gena Beige from EsthersStyles.com, but found that to not have pink in it. For my jaw, I use 1W because it matches to my neck, to which I do not apply foundation. Pale pink shade 1W is an exact match for my fair, cool, Scandinavian complexion. I am a winter with fair, cool skin, medium ash brown hair (now mostly white) and hazel / green / gold eyes. My cheeks are too pink for 1W, so that is why I use Alabaster. Here is what I’ve learned from buying, testing and donating so many different shades: Be advised that the 2W and 3W shades have lots of peach color in them, so more websites should really carry the cool Alabaster shade. If you like the CURRENT Max Factor Pan Stik medium 56 shade, Kryolan’s N4 is your shade. Shade 4W is a cool pink beige that is darker than Alabaster and it’s possibly Kryolan’s most popular shade. Shade 5W is suitable for suntanned and /or medium complected white people. Shade 6W is for soft, cool brown skin tones. Shade F1 is a warm ivory that matches to my spring-seasoned mother, whereas shade F2 is perfectly orangeish for rich colored Asian tones (not paler Asian skin tones, which usually select from the various FS shades). When I apply the Kryolan TV Paint Stick, I rub two fingers in a circular motion across the top of the stick, which warms the product and allows for smooth application without the use of a brush. I finish with loose powder.

The product was exactly as described. Offers a great, full coverage foundation. Is easily blended and works well with other oil-based makeups. Well worth the price. I've used Kryolan paint sticks for years. I use it as my initial foundation to cover flaws and uneven complexions then use a blending sponge to apply a liquid foundation. The combination creates a flawless and even baseline.

This is the perfect creme highlight for me. My foundation is tan and my contour is dark but this Kryolan in tv white is the perfect highlight. I put a little on my chin, cheekbones and forehead and blend. Its perfect. Buy it!
